Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth. ~ Proverbs 27:1

Had tried to do up a more interesting blog this morning but I will save it for another day.

I work for a freight hauling trucking firm. One of our drivers died of a heart attack today. Thank God he wasn't driving his truck at the time but had just pulled into a truck stop for fuel.

We're all feeling a little sad & shocked today.

Thinking of him & his family.

You just never know what's going to happen tomorrow!

  1. I'm so sorry to hear this news. I'm sending a hug, and I'll pray for his family.

  2. Oh Beck - sure makes all the small stuff seem so insignificant. We will pray for the family. Take care, my friend. *hug*

  3. My prayers and thoughts are with the family and friends at this sad time of bereavement.

So very distressing and how true "You just never know what's going to happen tomorrow".

  4. Such saddness...yes, you never know....keep those wicks trimmed....

  5. My husband just had a similar experience at work. A co-worker just took an early retirement package from the company and bought an RV to travel the country. A few weeks later, he dropped dead of a heart attack. I believe he was only in his 50's.

How important it is for us to share the message of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Savior! We don't know what tomorrow holds, but we can be secure forever when we trust Jesus.
