Sunrise to Sunset

"From the risin of the sun to its going down the Lord's name is to be praised." Psalm 113:3

With these long long days of summer, we can praise the Lord a lot earlier & a lot later each day!

  1. This is so true, specially if we actually get up earlier... I do find if I'm not up early our room starts heating up... and becomes so uncomfortable I have to get up... good reminder! Thanks Becky

  2. I love the long days! I will miss them, come October.

I really enjoyed reading through your spontaneous vacation. I would love to do something like that!.. but my husband is ANYTHING but spontaneous. He doesn't like to travel.

However, he is talking me into a LONG motorcycle ride--wants me to take a day off work--It might be about 60 miles through a very hot part of the desert and up into the sunny side of the mountains. I'll talk about it on my blog when the day gets closer.

  3. And just think, there will be no night in Heaven. We'll be able to praise God all the time...

Beck, thank you so much for your beautiful pictures. It draws me closer to my Creator and Savior...

  4. Thought I'd give a praise report. As you know we are in the process of building a baseball diamond on our ranch property. We hope to use it to bless our neighbours, as well as providing sports activities for our upcoming day camps. Field of Dreams released in 1989, is a movie that has inspired millions. My family and I are no exception. It is a movie about pursuing one's dream, no matter how much effort it takes. This movie is full of baseball but not about baseball - instead it is about a man getting in touch with his dreams and learning that sometimes you have to take a chance in life. It is about an ordinary guy-next-door corn farmer who suddenly and without explanation does something extraordinary. His wife is very supportive, she like my wife is a believing participant who finds the disbelief of others most amusing. My family and I moved to Osoyoos with a dream (more about that later). But for now back to the praise report... Last week Regal Ridge brought a huge bulldozer and 100 trucks of top soil. Today they came with the bill.... we were told it would be over $500.00 for lowbedding alone. The bill was marked paid in full. No cost whatsoever for all the work (6 days)and lowbedding. PTL

Thought you'd be blessed with the news, seeing you got a bunch of us praising Him. Ed

  9. Ok now this is getting to be all too much fun. As you know Becky I told you about the two Gateraides I bought for two transients and how the next day we got given a whole case of (24) Gateraides, but then today we got a call saying we had an Electronic Score Board given to us for our Ball Field! Pretty neat!
