Let It Rain!

Who covers the heavens with clouds,Who prepares rain for the earth, Who makes grass to grow on the mountains. Psalm 147:8

It is absolutely POURING rain this morning, Praise God. This is a very VERY dry & thirsty land and we need it so very badly. Everything is soaked and overflowing but it is wonderful. It is also lightning & thundering which is not so good because the mountains & hills are also tinder dry so hopefully it won't spark too many new forest fires!!

then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. ~Leviticus 26:4

The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. Deuteronomy 28:12

He gives rain on the earth,And sends waters on the fields. ~Job 5:10

  4. Wow - I guess it takes living in a dry and thirsty land to learn to appreciate the rain. Truly, it is one of God's blessings... Great verses.
