My Dad

Me & Dad in Venice trying to 'punt a pigeon' - Photo by Mom :)

Happy Father's Day DAD!!

I know I'm a day late but yesterday was a busy one. After a very moving church service in the morning, we spent the afternoon with my parents for Father's Day! Dad just wanted to take it easy and visit so we did. Mom cooked a delicious roast beef dinner. It was a great afternoon. I'm very thankful my parents are close enough to drive to for visits!

  1. Praise God for family! Sounds like you had a wonderful and relaxing day!

My mom used to make wonderful roast dinners too after church on Sundays... now that she has twelve grandkids, she opts for Sunday dinners out sometimes :) It's a nice break for her and my dad.

We enjoyed some dessert with my dad and mom after evening service last night. I'm blessed to live close to my parents too.

  3. Sounds like you and your family had a great day. I talked with my Dad on the phone. My whole family went out to eat all 17 of them yesterday. I wish I could of been there. My Dad had a great day. And he is doing quite well after his triple bypass surgery in April. Hope you have a great rest of the week.

Nice picture, great memories, was thrilled to have you over for supper and thrilled to visit, close enough, but some times even that is too far away. Thanks for good time together
