"We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair." 2 Corinthians 4:8
The trees on this point in the photo above have the lake on both sides and they get just hammered by the winds in the winter & spring. It amazes me, after some harsh windstorms, that they even remain standing. They must have really strong roots.
Sometimes it seems like life can come at you from every direction. It can be frustrating, perplexing and may even feel over-whelming. But if you can 'root' your strength in the Lord, you won't be crushed & you won't need to despair!
Hi Becky! This is a great analogy! I do believe that I will one day use it! :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, God is our strength! Love your pictures Becky!
ReplyDeleteAnd one of these days I'll comment on that Sunday blog many weeks ago about Heaven and if we can fall. Been thinking...
Another much appreciated post. Thank you.
