Bite Your Tongue: Proverbs 10

"In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is wise." ~Proverbs 10:19

OK, so I'm not having the greatest week at work. That's no secret right now. I'm very frustrated & its getting more & more obvious that a change is needed! My biggest concern right now is 'restraining my lips". In my frustrations, I feel a very NEGATIVE attitude coming over me the moment I walk in the door and I feel it melt away the moment I walk out. But its those 8+ hours in between that I have to practice restraint because everything I want to say is just lingering in my thoughts on the tip of my tongue!

So, I'm working on restraint this week...I'm not always successful but the end is in sight...its called Friday afternoon, and its only a day away!

I saw this funny 'office sign' and had a good laugh!

  3. In heavy prayer for you Miss Becks. I know this feeling well, and its easy for us on the outside to observe and give advice... but when you have to live in it, its a bitter pill. I'm always here with an ear to sear. *hugs*

  7. Thanks friends! I survived the day without being too nasty! LGS, I agree, songs are what get me through the day. I have a great variety on my computer at work. And I mean everything so if one thing isn't working to cheer up my mood, another will. Yesterday, it was powerful movie theme music. Like the theme from Schindlers List, Gladiator, LOTR, Troy and more. Excellent symphonic sounds booming in my ear. And throw in a bit of Enya cuz she is very moody & all was well.
